Day 2 ~ DIY Hong Kong & Macau trip 2016 (Lantau Island & Temple Street)

Hello everyone! I hope you are having a good day :)

Welcome to Day 2 of our trip which is mostly in Lantau Island where the Tian Tan Buddha or the Big Buddha and Po Lin Monastery is located.

We ride the MTR from Yau Ma Tei Station (nearest station to our hotel) to Central Station and then walk going to the the other line that goes to Tung Chung Station. After exiting the train station, we got some sushi on the go and coffee.
Sushi ~ mumma ate some before I took the picture 😂

We got there around 10am and the line is long already. We got the Standard Cabin for HKD185 each and It's a roundtrip ticket.

OMG you guys! the view is really amazing. It is indeed a nice experience if you are in Hong Kong. There is a route that you can take a bus going to the island but I suggest you ride the cable car because it's worth it! Here's some of our photo while in the cable car.

there's a trail going I don't know where 😅

That's the HKG Airport

After getting off the cable car you'll walk around a few restaurants so if you're hungry or thirsty, you can buy some before heading to Ngong Ping Village.

There is also a vegetarian restaurant beside the temple though I just didn't take a picture of it. If you want to try, you can go and check it out. If 'm not mistaken they offer set meals.

We got tired of roaming the area and decided to go back. We ride the cable car again and enjoy the amazing view as expected. There is a Food Court inside the Outlet Mall so we rest and eat there for a while. It's just beside the Tung Chung station, that's also where we get our coffee earlier.
Congee and fried dumplings 😋😋😋

We then head back to our hotel because we're hella tired. It feels so good to lay your back on a comfy bed. ahhhhh!😌

After resting for a little while we decided to get out and go to Temple Street. It's like Ladies Market with lots of everything you need under the sun and moon again but it's nearer to our hotel. It's like 2 minutes walk only.

our still tired kind of look 😫😝😆
There's a lot of fortune teller around the area

So many restaurants to choose from but seeing this one has so many customers so we decided to dine here hehe!
👌 This is so yummy. round 2 please 😆
Street foods. yum!

after getting our tummies full, we just walk around and buy some stuffs then head back to the hotel and doze off...

See you on Day 3!!! 😘
