Day 5 ~ DIY Hong Kong & Macau trip 2016 (Hotel Royal Macau, The Venetian Macau & Taipa Village (Rua Do Cunha)

Hello lovely people! I just wanted to say that I really didn't plan to blog about the trip that's why I did not take detailed photos of what the room looks like but I will just share some of our photos so you could have an idea of what the Deluxe King Room of Hotel Royal Macau is.

Btw, the hotel has a small casino called Mocha if you want to play slot machines or table games so you don't need to go somewhere else. I though it was a restaurant at first but seeing the security at the entrance makes me think twice. haha!

We're just playing slot machines so I don't know if what table games they offer.

Love their Aigner Bathroom amenities. smells so good!
Okay so we're back now to Day 5, our last day in Macau. We checked out around 11am and off we go to Venetian Macau. It's in Cotai Strip and will take you around 10 to 15 mins to go there from Outer Macau if you're using a private vehicle or the hotel shuttle bus but if you'll take the public bus I think it will take more or less 30mins.

on our way to Cotai Strip where most of the large casino is located
Macau Tower
we passed by Galaxy Macau

The Venetian Macao-Resort-Hotel has become one of the biggest landmarks for gamblers throughout Asia. Controlled by Sheldon Adelson’s Las Vegas Sands (LVS), the Venetian was the first giant casino to open on Macao’s Cotai Strip, an area of reclaimed land offshore from downtown Macao.

There is a baggage counter in Venetian so you don't need to worry about your big bags or suit case and there's a lot of filipino working on the area so you will not have a hard time asking someone.

This is the drop off point of almost every Hotel Shuttle.

After you enter the West Lobby, the baggage counter is on the left side.

There's a food court wherein you can find an array of food cuisines such as Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Indian, Western food, etc.
We got back again to their foodcourt to rest our feet and eat some Pho (vietnamese noodle soup).

I just forgot to take a photo of our lunch because we're really hungry that time but what we ate are some Singaporean cuisine.

After roaming around, we decided to go to Rua Do Cunha or Taipa Village but we had a hard time finding the bus stop that has a number 15 so we ask someone every time and walk a little bit far.

From outside the Venetian East Wing, you may take bus number 15 (going towards Jardins Do Oceano) and get down at Rua Do Cunha. Fare for this trip will be 2.80 MOP if paid by cash and 2.00 MOP or less if paid using Macau Pass. Take note and be sure to pay the exact amount because they will not give you change.

Sipping some coffee & green tea frappe while devouring some Portuguese egg tart
There's a lot of food shops here that you can try

Sticker from the students who are raising money for their/the olympics.

Getting back to Venetian: Just go to the main road where the bus stop is and look for the bus 25 or 25x. You will get down on the other road in front of venetian and just take the pedestrian.

until next time, venetian macao!

It's night time now so we need to go to the airport for our flight. The hotel offers free shuttle buses going to the airport at the Main Lobby so we just grab our luggage and off we go to the Macau International Airport.

We just grab some burgers and soda at McDonalds before boarding the plane. Hope you guys enjoy reading about my experiences at Hong Kong and Macau. ciao!
