Wizarding World of Harry Potter ~ Universal Studio Osaka, Japan

Did you ever dream of going to Hogwarts and cast some spells?

Japan made it possible for us that could not afford to spend way too much money going to Orlando and Hollywood to see and experience Harry Potter World. I've watched Harry Potter first before I could read it so I'm not into reading the book - I'm more into the film version. Anyways, it doesn't really matter if you're a potterhead by book or by film or by both.

I stayed near Daikokucho station (Apartment/Condo) and I have a free pocket wifi so it's very convenient for first timers like me to get around Japan though It's tricky sometimes if you don't know a thing about their train lines.

I left around 7 in the morning to go to Universal Studio. Yup! I'm excited 😆

FYI: you can bring snacks to the theme park. I bought some onigiri and milk tea while on my way to the station.

Getting there is easy! Just go to Imamiya station and ride the Osaka loop line towards Tennoji and then Change train on Nishikujo station towards Sakurajima and hop down to Universal Studio station.

Train fare is ¥180

I already purchased my ticket at the airport so I don't need to fall in line twice because even if you have the ticket already, the line entering the theme park is loooooooooong. I also have the Express Pass that's why I don't need to hustle my way getting the Time Ticket. I read online that they waited late at noon just to enter the harry potter world and we wouldn't want that, right?

You know that feeling when you're so happy and kind of smiling but you're just by yourself and you feel silly and crazy because you're smiling? that's what I felt the whole time. I really feel that I'm in the movie though the thing is I'm a fan but I'm not crazy spending all my pocket money on the merchandise because everything is super expensive🤑🤑🤑

After exploring Harry Potter World, I went to Universal Wonderland to have some lunch and to explore the cuteness of snoopy and hello kitty. After that I explore the whole theme park and ride some of their attractions. Too bad Jaws is not open that day.

I didn't expect that night to be so cold and I don't have gloves with me so I feel a bit cold around 5 or 6pm so I decided not to watch the parade and head back home already - After all I've been there for almost 12 hours haha!

Getting back to Daikokucho: Ride the train going back to Nishikujo station and then ride the counter clockwise osaka loop line going to Imamiya Station.

Feeling tired and lazy to dine somewhere, I just went to the nearby to go restaurant and bought a tonkatsu curry for dinner. Luckily the apartment/condo where I stayed at have 3 convenience store and a really good take out restaurant nearby so it's very convenient.
